I SENT THESE ROSES TO MY BOYFRIEND’S WORKPLACE AS A SWEET SURPRISE, BUT HE THREW THEM IN MY FACE – I TAUGHT HIM A GOOD LESSON LATER My boyfriend’s a mechanic. We’ve been together for about three years, and lately, it felt like the romance was slipping away. We were stuck in this boring routine, and I wanted to remind him how much we still love each other. So, I decided to surprise him with a bouquet of roses at his work. I could just imagine his face lighting up when he saw the card that said, “Just because, love, your GF.” When he came home, I was so excited! I was really hoping this would bring back that spark. But instead, he walks in, completely FURIOUS, throws the roses in my face (!!!), and then tosses them in the trash! He started yelling at me, saying his buddies teased him and that I embarrassed him. My heart just shattered… I was so hurt and angry, and I thought, “I need to do something about this.” So, the next day, he walked into work and saw all his colleagues and even his boss with👇

I quickly got ready and headed to the restaurant, emotions swirling. He stood up as I approached, looking nervous.

“I’m so sorry for how I reacted,” he said, his voice filled with regret. “You were trying to do something beautiful, and I was horrible to you. I promise I’ll never take you for granted again.” I hugged him, eyes watery.

Then, right there in the restaurant, he got down on one knee and pulled out the ring. “Will you marry me?” he asked. Tears of joy streamed down my face. “Yes,” I whispered, nodding. “Yes, of course, I will.”

The entire restaurant erupted in applause. For the first time in a long while, I felt that spark again. We spent the evening talking about our relationship, making a pact to surprise each other more often and communicate openly.

The next day, Mike’s boss called him into the office. Mr. Thompson had heard about the proposal. “Anyone who can inspire this kind of loyalty and love deserves to be in a leadership position,” he said. “Congratulations, Mike. You’re getting the promotion.”

Mike came home that evening with a big smile and swept me into his arms. “We did it,” he said. “We’re going to start this new chapter together, and I couldn’t be happier.”

Our relationship has been stronger ever since. That dramatic incident reminded us of the importance of love, respect, and appreciation. If romance is slipping away, don’t be afraid to do something bold. Sometimes, a little drama can reignite the spark.
